Autralis has a strict privacy policy and protects the personal data of its users. The following regulations are in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

  • Events (open days, info events, trade fairs)
  • Commercial offers
  • Marketing research

The collected personal data is kept confidentially in the Autralis database on its secure servers.

Cookies

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded to and stored in the browser or on the hard drive of the user’s computer when they visit a website. These cookies store the visitor’s personal preferences when they use the website.

Autralis uses cookies and similar technologies on its website: functional cookies, analytical cookies, cookies for targeting / remarketing and cookies for social media. This is to offer the visitor a better user experience and to optimise the functionality of the website.

Functional cookies

These cookies help to distinguish the user’s preferences from those of other users of the website. In this way, they ensure an optimal user experience and that the website functions properly. These cookies remember, among other things, country and language preferences, the customer segment of the visitor, and provide a personalised surfing experience.

Analytical cookies

These cookies collect information on the surfing behaviour of the website visitors. This is intended to optimise the content and ease of use of the website and to tailor it to the preferences of the visitor. To map this data, Autralis uses Google Analytics, which in turn also uses cookies. These cookies measure, for example, how many individual visitors the website has and what the most visited web pages are.

Cookies for argeting / remarketing cookies

These cookies track the visitor’s surfing behaviour with the aim of showing the visitor targeted content and customised advertisements.

This data is also used for advertising campaigns on third-party websites.

Cookies for sociale media

When you share content via the Autralis website on social networks such as Facebook, these may in turn place a cookie on your device. For more information, please refer to the privacy policy of these organisations.

Autralis uses the Facebook Pixel for advertising campaigns on Facebook. A cookie, created by Facebook, is integrated into some Autralis web pages. In this way Facebook can follow a user from the advertisement on the social network to a webpage of Autralis. Facebook can then recognise the user and targeted advertisements can be shown.

Permission

When visiting the website for the first time, the visitor is asked to accept the cookies used by Autralis.

The cookie settings for the website can be adjusted at any time, and cookies can also be refused or blocked by changing the configuration settings of the browser. However, disabling cookies may mean that certain functionalities of the website are not optimally displayed.

Notification obligation for data leaks

Autralis is obliged to report “breaches in connection with personal data” (for example: loss or unlawful access to personal data) to the supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.

Right to access, rectify or delete data

You have the right to view or request information about personal data collected on you at any time. At your request, Autralis will transfer, change, or permanently delete all your personal data from its files. You can find the contact details of Autralis at the bottom of the page.

If you have any complaints regarding the processing of your personal data, you can always contact us by email at info@autralis.be.

You can also submit a complaint to the Data Protection Authority, by post at Drukpersstraat 15, 1000 Brussels.
